Yesterday evening I received a sad message from Kathy that said it was time for Vad to leave us ?

He was an amazing dog who passed his excellent retrieving skills on to all his kids, grandkids, greatgrandkids and so on… I can just look at a picture of a toller retrieving and know that Vad is there somewhere in the pedigree?
Thanks for all you’ve done during these 14 years Kathy and the rest of Como family.

Had to say goodbye yesterday to this magnificent boy as his rear end was no longer mobile but he also had the chills and it was time! Jamie, Remi and Hannah greeted him and they are now playing fetch across the rainbow bridge. I cannot thank Anette enough for entrusting us with this Wildduck!
He may have been a big boy but he put his natural retrieving and wonderful temperament on his progeny for which we are so grateful! God speed my boy…. you will be missed!
